This morning's meditation routine is the same as yesterday. Read the passage several times and think about the words of Scripture, answering the questions below in your journal and/or sharing with someone.
Is there a word or phrase that stands out to you?
How does the passage resonate with you or make you feel?
Do you need to respond?
David expresses his Very Big Feelings in this passage -- he's angry and longing for God to change his circumstances. Talk to God this morning about things that are making you frustrated, angry, or sad.
Joy's fourth message tackles the end of Psalm 139, where David's emotions are running high. Joy reminds students to pause, take a deep breath, and surrender their path to God. She also unpacks James 1:19-27 and encourages students to put what they've learned into practice.
Take a quiet walk or jog and think about:
What are your Big Feelings about right now?
Where do you need God to search your heart?
What do you need to do about it?
